Amiscus Horizon was registered in The Gambia in November 2013 through the Gambia Investment Export Agency (GIEPA) Tax Exemption Program. The company started operations in June 2014. The shareholder structure is 100% Gambian owned. The head office is currently located at centenary building on Kairaba Avenue (Westfield) with plans to open branches in Brikama, Basse and Soma by latest December 2015.
The vision of the company is to address the current housing shortage in the Gambia by making housing affordable for all our customers. It means simply saving cement blocks on a monthly basis until the required number of blocks is available which is delivered to the site free of charge. The company is currently working on other financial models for the low and middle income earners to make home building more affordable which will benefit the Nation as a whole in terms of providing affordable shelter which falls in line with the Government’s Vision 2020 objective.
